About Us

My name is Irene, and I built The Right Hand Room because I kept meeting extraordinary executive assistants who were doing leadership-level work and being treated like support staff.

I’ve spent over 15 years supporting leaders across industries. I know what the role actually looks like from the inside — the early mornings, the impossible asks, the decisions made in your executive’s name that nobody ever sees you making. I know what it takes to be genuinely great at this job. And I know how rarely the people doing it get the tools, the recognition, or the compensation they deserve.

That gap is why this exists.

What The Right Hand Room Is

The Right Hand Room is a digital resource hub built specifically for executive assistants — and for the executives smart enough to invest in the people supporting them. Every product in this shop was designed to give EAs what most of us were never given: a real framework, specific language, and a concrete plan for doing this work at the highest level.

No generic productivity tips. No advice written by someone who has never sat in the chair. Everything here comes from 15 years of figuring out what actually works — in real organizations, with real executives, under real pressure.

What You Will Find Here

The shop covers the full arc of the EA career. If you are new to a role, there is a guide for navigating your first 90 days with intention. If you are deep in an executive relationship that feels off, there is a playbook for managing up. If you are ready to step into a Chief of Staff or Director-level role, there is a roadmap for making that transition deliberately. If you want to use AI to get 10 hours back every week, there is a tool-specific guide that cuts straight to what works. And if you have been putting off the salary conversation, there is a step-by-step guide for having it — with the exact words.

There are also free quick reference guides available throughout the site, because some things should not cost money to access.

Who This Is For

The Right Hand Room is for the EA who is done underestimating what they bring to the table. The one who knows they are operating above their title and is ready to do something about it. The one who wants a resource that takes them seriously — because the work they do is serious, even when the organization does not always treat it that way.

If that is you, you are in the right place.

A Note on Where This Comes From

I hold certifications in Google Project Management and Nova Chief of Staff, and I am currently completing my MBA. But more than any credential, what informs everything in this shop is time spent in the room — managing the unmanageable, anticipating the unpredictable, and doing the kind of work that holds organizations together from behind the scenes.

The Right Hand Room is my way of passing that forward.

Welcome.
